History of Tustin Farm

John Mastriano and Audrey Winzinger have been operating Tustin Farm together since 1988. Tustin is the only stable in Southern New Jersey that consistently qualifies its students for the Devon, Pennsylvania National and Washington International Horse Shows, as well as the Pony Finals, USEF Junior Hunter Finals and Zone II Finals. And those students don’t just qualify. Tustin Farm students and equines have come home from these shows with blue ribbons and championships. Tustin Farm customers have accomplished these honors while staying well within their budget. Most of these riders have arrived at Tustin having never ridden before. At Tustin many start out in the lesson program on safe well trained ponies, develop into seasoned riders; and, are eventually mounted on competitive show horses and ponies. John and Audrey pride themselves on forming compatible and competitive rider/equine partnerships, for affordable prices; and, when the time comes Tustin has a program that can market your horse or pony for the maximum return.

John Mastriano has not only trained tricolor winners at Devon, Harrisburg, Pony Finals and The National Horse Show; but, his students have been chosen Best Child Riders and earned circuit championships at “AA” shows up and down the East coast. Although Tustin Farm riders are very competitive, they also have a lot of fun along the way, as well as gaining self confidence and a strong education in horsemanship.

John and Audrey believe in giving back to the horse industry hence John is a former USHJA Pony Hunter Committee member and a former Director of the Pennsylvania Horse Shows Association. Audrey is a USEF Steward, former member of the USHJA Finance Committee, Zone II Committee and the Pony Hunter Breeding Committee as well as a former Pennsylvania Horse Show Association Director. John and Audrey were awarded the prestigious Bosley Sportsmanship Award by the Classic Company in 2008; and, Audrey was the PHSA Horseperson of the Year in 2006.
